Read this short note

For nine years, we’ve had the privilege of supplying Books & Sons Woodworking with saw blades. Then you stopped ordering and your absence has been noticeable. We try to do our very best in servicing all of our customers and would very much like to know why you have stopped ordering from us. Our sales representative will be calling in your area Tuesday, May 15th, and will stop by to find out what we can do to be of service to you in the future.

For the price questions, round your answer up to the nearest whole cent. You can enter amounts such as $0.50.

How many pairs in the table below are exact duplicates?

3 for $0.79 — price for one item

3 for $1.99 — price for one item

2 for $2.50 — price for one item

5 for $3.75 — price for one item

Add: 4.98 + 7.59 + 0.98

Add: 56.97 + 6.57 + 58.32 + 1.78

Subtract: 1.49 − 0.93

Subtract: 119.87 − 29.78

How many years has Books & Sons been ordering saw blades?

When will the sales representative call on Books & Sons?

What has Books & Sons done to cause the supplier concern?
